What is the C&E ALS Learning Technology Grant?

The C&E ALS Learning Technology Grant is a Learning Technology Package awarded to qualified schools to support the integration of technology into their learning environments and bridge the technological gap to create a more engaging, interactive learning environment for students.

What do you get out of the C&E ALS Learning Technology Grant?


Valued at 150,000php, the C&E ALS Learning Technology Grant provides schools with:

  • 60-75 days full access to a bespoke Digital Solutions for either a. Student Engagement or AI Tutor for Reading.

  • Professional Training for Educators.

  • Readily available activities to engage students in using Digital Solutions responsibly.

  • Professional Consultant to guide the Institution in creating a robust Learning Plan integrated with Technology-readiness.

How do I qualify as a grantee?

​

C&E ALS Learning Technology Grant is awarded to qualified schools. To qualify as a grantee, the school must complete an application form. All submissions will be deliberated by C&E officers. For each cycle, there would be four (4) schools that will be awarded the grant. Two (2) schools will be awarded with Amira Learning, and another two (2) will be awarded with Nearpod.


Criteria for qualifying includes:

• Learning Technology Readiness of the Institution:

The school's infrastructure must be ready to deploy a digital and online mode of teaching and learning.



• Learning Technology Readiness of all Stakeholders:


The receptiveness, skills, and curriculum readiness of the whole institution.



• Future Proofing Plan:


There is Institutional Direction towards Learning Technology.

• Application Period: September 16, 2024 to October 31, 2024


• Announcement of Grantee/s: November 15, 2024


• Period of the Learning Technology Grant in the School: January 2025 to March 2025
